Nasty Gal accessories

Hey guys! So finally, I am able to start updating the blog again. I’ve been so absent because I am in my very last term for school which means both me and my sister have been very busy trying to complete assignments, keep up to date with internships and in general keep everything on track.

I have great news by the way. I just started an internshipworking as a fashion showroom PR for David Meister. This is something I havebeen incredibly happy about because this is my very first step into the fashionbusiness aside from this blog and the classes I take at college. I must say I loveevery bit of it. The experience I am able to gain, the colleagues and thepeople who I get to meet are definitely something which is a big help to me.

Some more good news: My sister is coming to visit me in NYC.We have both been collaborating towards this blog together, so finally now thatwe are in the big city together, you can expect some new blog post featuringboth me and her on our journeys around the city. Luckily, she will be hereduring fashion week so we can definitely expect some kickass street style inthe area! So keep a look out as there will be some posts featuring her entirevisit.
Apart from all this great news,  I have been going through new collections on a weekly basis, drooling over everything and just wishing thatone day I could own the entire collection or run a store like this. Their doinga fantastic job! I noticed that some of their items have a type of 90's feel tothem which is definitely a trend that I will never get sick of.

Above I posted two different outfits featuring just their accessorieswhich have the whole 90s vibe to them, which i then mixed with apparel from topshop and river island.

Outfit of the day

Hey guys!
So here I have put together an outfit for today. I bought this new shirt from Brandy Melville after seeing it a few weeks ago and falling in love with it. As you probably know, I love any shirts with the moon print on them. I already own a few which you can check out from earlier blog posts.

However, the most important part is theese jeans from Its been months since I had bought new jeans. I feel that one should only own 2 pairs and that's it. Considering I have been wearing the same pair of jeans religiously that I bought the last year and  half, I thought it was time to get a fresh new pair.

I choose a high waist, acid wash skinny jean because I feel this shape and color best suits my body type. My short legs don't look so good with anything mid rise or below. By wearing high waist, it gives the illusion that my legs are longer and not to mention to tightness of them make my a$$ look fantastic!

By the way, Shu Uemura is having a black friday sale, so get your hands on their fantastic deals this Thursday November 22 through Tuesday november 27 by typing in the following code at the check out-

20% off plus free shipping on orders of 50$ or more

They are also doing a collaboration with Karl Lagerfield in which they have some pretty cute lipstick designs so do check that out too !

Here is one of my personal favorites

Instagram Pics/Recent Purchases

Hey everyone!

So here's a post about some of my recent instagram pics and recent purchases I've made. I admit I have been really busy and it's been difficult for me to make regular posts. Working and trying to finish my course is not easy. So I apologize for that!

Anyways, I just bought myself an iPhone and I am ADDICTED! I have been taking some amazing photos recently. Especially some of my new pieces I've bought.

First things first, I had to get an iPhone cover from Marc by Marc Jacobs. I'm so in love with the new collection, I just want to buy them ALL! And then I bought a gorgeous camoflage button up shirt with spikes from Zara, then I bought myself a new wallet from Marc by Marc Jacobs (I'm in love with this red right now!) Then my boyfriend offered me a shopping spree from Urban Outfitters for my birthday, and I bought my spike colar chiffon top, a slit top, a cross pendant necklace and this really cool temporary hair dye in pink from Creative.

Last but not least, I really love the Natasha model from Marc by Marc Jacobs in this Flamingo Highlighter color. We received this bag today and I want it so bad!! I am going to go broke working at this store!!

Baroque print

Iv been searching high and low for the perfect pair of baroque print trousers. I had found some AMAZING ones in Topshop, but they were slightly pricey and I know I am very skilled at finding a great bargain so I had decided not to act on my impulses and wait. It was definitely worth the wait as I found these pants by accident on my way to class. Their from LOFT NYC, and they were on sale. I think I paid around 60 dollars for them compared to the original price which was around 80 dollars.  I am surprised I found them in this store because I walk passed that store on a daily basis in which I never notice anything of my style in that store.  Thankfully, their all mine now!

As for the shoes,  Iv been seeing a lot of girls wearing these high wedge sneakers. At first I wasn't too into them because I felt they looked kinda weird.. but they grew on me. I love this type of sporty shoe mixed with a dressy outfit such as these pants. I feel they give a good twist to any outfit rather than just regular boots that you would expect in fall/winter seasons. These are from Steve madden, there's also some really awesome other colors available such as brown, or a combination of 2 colors.

Recent instagram

Hey guys!

My man is visiting me here in new york for 2 weeks, so lately I have been doing a lot of sight seeing even though I hate it. I also took him shopping, so he has managed to get a full wardrobe make over. Thankfully! I was so sick of seeing quicksilver hoodies on him from his younger days.

Ps- check out that marshmallow and Nutella strawberry sandwich. Effing amazing!!

My newest obsession: High Top Sneakers

Hi dolls! I haven't made a post in awhile, but it's been a crazy summer. With little time for shopping (I know, I am committing Fashion crimes). But I did get a little R&R time while I was in France, and I fell in love with these sneakers which is going to be the ultimate trend this Fall/Winter!

Even though the price is a little bit out of my reach, and I had to put them on TWO different cards. I do not regret this purchase one bit!!! When you live in a small town like I do, it seems like there is absolutley no originality. Everyone buys at Zara and H&M, and there goes any hope for unique pieces.

Which is why I suggest to all of my readers/fans/women in general, to BUY outside the box!!!! With the upmost respect to Zara (which has the best collection at the moment), Ladies... c'mon! Do some more traveling, discover boutiques, visit vintage stores, and buy more online! Fashion isn't immitation. You should be proud to own a piece that no one has. Something unique, that everyone stops in their tracks to check you out.

Sometimes I think it's worth spending more money on a item that will last you forever, then spending that amount on 5 items that basically everyone has. Buy a leather bag from a good brand. Save up your money! You will thank me later! Quality most definitely beats quantity.

Anyways, I'd like to present you with my most prized possesion at the moment. My ASH high top sneakers. You can buy from other brands, like Isabel Marant or Marc by Marc Jacobs, but these are definitely the most affordable line. Check them out below!
